About Us:
Wheeler Media Solutions and its legendary hit music station K92, is looking for a dynamic and creative Promotions & Event Coordinator to join our team! We connect with our community through exciting events, unforgettable promotions, and cutting-edge content. The role will include but not be limited to:
- Create, coordinate, and execute station promotions and events
- Work closely with sales and programming teams to ensure promotional campaigns align with station goals and client needs.
- Manage event logistics, including scheduling, vendor communication, and onsite setup/teardown.
- Represent K92 at events as a station ambassador, engaging with listeners and clients.
- Manage station social media accounts during events, creating engaging content in real time.
- Track and report the success of promotions and events, including listener participation and client feedback.
- Assist with creating on-air promotional content, such as live reads and contest scripts.
- Create events involving other Wheeler Media stations
What We're Looking For:
- An experienced promotions & event coordinator with a successful track record of monetizing events and promotions
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Creativity to dream up unique, buzz-worthy ideas that resonate with people 18-49 years old.
- Ability to lift and transport promotional materials and equipment (up to 30 lbs).
- Comfortable with public speaking and engaging with diverse crowds.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) and basic graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Spark, etc.).
- A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle—this role involves traveling to events.
- Prior experience in promotions, event planning or media.
