Blue Ridge PBS, serving Southwest, VA, has an immediate opening for a full-time Education Producer. The ideal candidate will have educational experience and best practices knowledge, be digitally literate, a socially savvy producer, and is committed to delivering educational content that meets the needs and interests of the diverse learners across the region. This position requires strong aesthetic and technical skills in video production, an ability to create compelling narratives in short-form, and a commitment to working with partners to create engaging and functional learning resources.
Blue Ridge PBS is a 24/7 broadcast television station with multiple digital broadcast and streaming channels.
A bachelor’s degree is required. Ideally, the candidate will have combination of education and experience in a broadcast field and/or public television environment.
