WVTF/RADIO IQ Public Radio is hiring a Business Manager to serve as the primary staff member responsible for handling and processing all incoming funds, including but not limited to individual donors, corporate underwriters, site lease clients, corporate matching gift companies, federal and state agencies, foundations, and other sources of revenue.
Will be proficient in using WVTF donor database, corporate underwriting radio traffic software, and related university computer applications. Performs and/or oversees bookkeeping and billing functions for all accounts payable and receivable. Creates monthly reports, as directed, for University Relations, the Virginia Tech Foundation, Inc., and the WVTF General Manager. Provides reports for auditors upon request.
Responsible for general office and building activities and functions as directed by the General Manager. Supervises the WVTF Administrative Assistant. Oversees contracted office and building services, including Janitorial, grounds and landscaping, etc.
The Business Manager will liaise with Advancement Services for various functions to ensure consistency in process and programs.
