WEHC Assistant Manager -- Seeking a strong member for a small team in beautiful southwest Virginia to oversee daily operation of Emory & Henry’s 9,000-watt college and community radio station, WEHC- 90.7. The Assistant Manager will have a professional on-air presentation and will be responsible for managing station automation, for recording and editing with Adobe Audition, and for scheduling underwriting spots, promos, PSAs, and weather updates. The Assistant Manager will work to strengthen both community and cross-campus connections, help train students, and support community volunteers, faculty, and staff with program needs. Other duties include supervising special projects such as sports broadcasts, working with the station website and social media, fundraising, underwriting, and helping maintain station documents and materials. The assistant manager must show initiative, self-discipline, a positive leadership style, and the ability to work well with a wide array of constituents.
