Executive Producer of Investigations and Special Projects
WAVY-TV 10 / WVBT FOX 43, (Norfolk/Virginia Beach) is searching for an EXECUTIVE INVESTIGATIVE PRODUCER who is driven to research, write and produce hard investigative enterprise stories. You will be required to work within a team of reporters, photographers and managers to cultivate sources, dig up source material from scratch, and organize several stories in various stages of development simultaneously. This producer will be a major part of the station’s online success by posting stories and other content on WAVY.com.
Several years of experience as a newscast producer or journalist within an investigative newsgathering environment is preferred.
A history of on-air work at a commercial television station is a plus.
The successful candidate will be relentless in the pursuit of the truth. You must have a proven track record of strong journalistic skills and supreme ethical standards.
