Many VAB members participated in a webinar today regarding how to navigate the federal Paycheck Protection Program, also known as the “PPP” – which is a part of the CARES Act through which billions of dollars will be made available to small businesses.
Our regulatory attorneys from Brooks Pierce presented the webinar, helping to answer many of the questions stations had about the PPP, ranging from whether your business is eligible to apply for a PPP loan, to how and when you can apply, to what bank or banks you ought to reach out to regarding a PPP loan, just to name a few.
Broadcasters aren’t the only ones with questions about the PPP – we know your advertising clients have many similar questions as well.
That’s why we’re hosting an “encore” webinar on Thursday, April 9, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 12:00 ET that will again cover various aspects of the PPP. The webinar will provide updates from today’s presentation; as you know, things are changing during this COVID-19 situation on a daily basis.
