C-Band Phase II Accelerated Clearing Deadline.
All satellite operators have committed to “clearing” incumbent broadcast operations (i.e., C-band downlink dishes) from the lower 280 MHz of the C-band by December 5, 2023. Broadcasters should use the deadline to ensure (1) that all of their qualifying, incumbent C-band operations have been successfully transitioned to the upper 200 MHz of the band; (2) that they have received all necessary reimbursement; and (3) that their qualifying, incumbent C-band operations are not receiving any harmful interference.
