In 2019, the FCC adopted a Report and Order which modernizes the triennial carriage election process relating to MVPDs and TV stations. As part of that modernization, broadcasters, DBS providers, and cable operators must upload to their online public inspection files (or COALS, in the case of cable operators) both an email address and phone number for carriage-related inquiries. As of December 17, 2019, the FCC has not yet updated its various systems and databases to accommodate this information but will release a public notice when they are ready for the addition of this required information.
